Last post?!

Filed under: Randomness — crapptastic @ 10:23 PM

I can’t believe this is the last post! I really can’t, it’s the fifth one and the last?! Sigh, I’m really going to miss Storytelling lessons, a lot! It’s the lesson I enjoy the most ’cause it’s so interesting, fun and relaxing. It’s really just awesome that it’s on the last day of every week because it’s pretty much worry-free and after a whole week of getting stressed out from the other modules, it rocks! <:

.. And, I’m not saying all this just ’cause you’re reading this, Mr Leslie! :B

Arghhh ~ To think it’s almost over! Well, I guess it’s great while it lasts and that’s what counts huh. (:

Anyway, I can’t help but miss my teachers back at CCSS! I received a message from my brother during 2D ART this afternoon and he said that he told my chemistry teacher that I said I missed her when she asked him how I was. Man, it’s cool how my ex-teacher is teaching my brother mathematics now ~ But yeah, he said she went, “Aww, so sweet,” and I can totally imagine her expression when she said that, really I can! (:

And, gah! I really miss all of them! Mr Chia, Mdm Santha, Ms Lee, Mdm Annur, Mdm Koh, Mr Kang.. and even Mr Cheong and Ms (Mdm) Yam! AH! And, Ms Ong, the choir’s ex-ex-instructor! Oh, then I get reminded of my primary school teachers back at RGPS! 钟老师, Mdm Tng, Ms Tan and.. rah, can’t remember anymore. D:

Love the times they taught me! I remember back in primary school, my Chinese was horrible (not that it still isn’t) and 钟老师 used to teach me one on one in the mornings before school started.  I guess I did improve, since I got an A for PSLE, which was quite a surprise. I can’t thank her enough, really, for using her own time to teach me when she could have just left me alone since I was just that one person in the class getting really bad grades for Chinese. Thank you so so much, 钟老师!

Memories are like flooding my head at the moment and my mind’s a big mess! I remember the times Mr Chia switched off all our lights and fans for one whole day just because we didn’t clean up the class, the times Mdm Santha checked whether we did our homework one by one, the times Ms Ong made us sing again and again and again and again until we got it right, the times Ms Lee cracked a rare joke in class, the times we went so off-topic in Mdm Annur’s class and have no idea how we got so far away, the many many many times we had to give Mdm Koh tissues.. OHOH! And the times Mr Cheong was hopping mad and screaming at the class! C:

There are still so many of these moments and times, but I really can’t name them all, it’s just too many! I know for sure I’ll remember them for life though! Until the day I die!

And so, to sum it up, teachers are like really really really really really awesome!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU’VE DONE FOR US! <3

Okay, I don’t believe I’m ending the last post ever now! ): Storytelling has been such a.. a wondering experience! Like seriously! But, all good things come to an end and this module, is a good thing. :B

Alrighty now, bye Storytelling and bye crapptastic. <3

Small, small world.

Filed under: Randomness — crapptastic @ 11:55 AM

Sometimes I really think the world, wait no, Singapore is really small! Don’t you think so too?

I didn’t realise it when I was in secondary school, but wow, once I entered NP it’s as if the world has shrunk! Everyone knows one another, like seriously!

Everywhere I go, it’d be like “Oh, do you know _____?”, “Oh my gosh, you know _____? How?”, “Oh, are you serious? How did you know _____?”, etc etc. I get blown away at times, really.

Okay, let me sum it up alright. A girl I got to know from FOC was primary school mates with my cousin, two of my classmates now used to be my secondary school classmate’s primary school classmate, my IS classmate knows my classmate, my Korean class classmate also knows another one of my classmates, my primary school classmate is friends with my cousin.. and apparently, my cousin’s friend’s friend was in my Korean class too. Oh man, there are just too many connections to name! So much that I don’t exactly remember all at the moment!

Another one is how my online friend of almost two years ended up in my cousin’s school. I remember on the orientation day, my cousin called me suddenly and started asking loads of stuff. And apparently, she asked her group leader which one was him when he was on the other side of the OGL.. or so I heard. I have communication problems. This is a fact. (Oops, shorter than I wanted it to be. Brain fried, ps. :X)

And so, they ended up in the same CCA. Oh, and my secondary school classmate ended up in the same CCA as my cousin too. Yes, she has like two or three CCAs. Weird enough, these two friends have the same surname. What a coincidence, really. That, plus they’re both in my cousin’s CCAs. Hoho!

But, I think it’s awesome when everyone knows one another. I mean, it’s good right? Everyone knows one another, so you can talk crap about them, talk crap to others, talk crap about them to others.. It’s super cool! <: It reduces the awkwardness too huh, I think.. o_______o ”

I think it’s weird to put emoticons in a blog post for school work, but I really can’t help it! Without them, it seems so.. dead and serious! Plus, I can’t fully express myself. ): I’ve gotten so used to it that unless I’m pissed off or something, every single message I send has at least one. Sometimes even one after every sentence! Okay, that’s it, I’m a freak. I’m trying so hard not to put any at the moment, ugh.

The weeks are progressively becoming more and more tiring. Just yesterday, at about 2AM, I experienced a tiredness I’ve never experienced in my life before. I was kind of shocked and freaked out. Like really, never once in my life. I’ve been sleeping so late nowadays and waking up less than 6 hours later, it’s killing me. I’ve always been a person who will sleep early if I have to wake up early, but now I sleep late and wake up early. I’m slowly dying inside, I tell you.

Alrighty, 500 words achieved! C:

See you next week! <3

Procrastination rocks! <3

Filed under: Randomness — crapptastic @ 1:51 AM

Why, hello there! <:

Life’s been almost the same as the first week as of.. Wait, what? No, no, no. I’m not thinking straight. The first week seemed so slow and lazy but these few weeks, things getting progressively faster and tiring! Projects, graded assignments, sketches, presentations and more projects.. It can’t get any worse, can it? Days are passing by really quickly, in a blink of an eye really. It felt like only a day or two ago since I sat here rushing out a blog post. /: Poly really isn’t as easy and carefree as it seems huh.

Hm, so what should I blog about tonight? I actually have loads to because if there’s something worth blogging about during the past week, I’ll remember it. C:

I remember on Wednesday, I couldn’t get on about three 901s. They didn’t stop at all because they were totally full, like to the doors. That was one of the many times I wish I didn’t procrastinate until I was late. >.> Can’t believe I spent about 25 minutes waiting for a bus to get to the interchange I take 10-15 minutes to walk to.

Well anyway, let’s get to the point. A woman, who was sitting there since I got to the bus stop, pointed her middle finger at the bus driver who put up his hand to ask us to wait as he drove right past. Surprise surprise! And yeah, you read right, a woman, a working adult.

I was caught by surprise I must say, since it wasn’t something I’d see everyday. She must have been really pissed off. I was too, but not there though, surprisingly. I’ve got a feeling ~ that I was gonna be late there and then, but I didn’t feel anxious till the 961 trip.

I was totally pissed off on 961. The driver was driving like a retard, going fast and then slow. I could see his face in the mirror and I wanted to punch it so much, trust me. His face just pissed me off okay! :X As if that was not enough, I started getting pissed at the people who were coming on and going down. Yeah, you’ve got it! It’s ’cause I find them annoying for making the already snail-paced bus stop.

In case you’re wondering when I ever chilled ’cause it’s silly getting pissed at the most random of people, I felt better some time into the journey, when I realised I was retarded as well. HAHAHA! :X I started feeling that it was funny how I was getting pissed off at strangers and eventually I wasn’t anymore. I know, weeeird huh. I’m seriously not normal.

Oh, and I reached before 09:15 that day, before the teacher arrived too. I was like ugh. You know, that feeling.

Uh, that was really long and I’ve not even started on what I really really really want to blog about, which is how small Singapore is! Should I leave that for next week? But what if something else happens? Oh no, crappp.

Okay, it’s decided! Next week it is! Wait till next week, DC! HAHAHA! <: Oh, and solo paragraph! TYVVVM! :B

Time to sleep before I collapse, g’night! (:

Unlimited please!

Filed under: Randomness — crapptastic @ 11:58 PM

I NEED UNLIMITED MESSAGES, BADLY!

Yes, sadly it’s true, I do need unlimited messages badly, like really really really badly. It’s really a record for me, I mean, 536 in 15 days? I used up all 500 of my messages in half a month! What the heck do I use in the second half? Well, for the time being, I’m using my sister’s phone since she hardly messages at all. Oh, don’t ask me why, she’s just..

..

..

weird. <: What? Don’t give me that look, there isn’t a more suitable word!

I still haven’t decided what to do, I can only change my plan earliest in July this year (which is two hellish months away, oh my gosh!), but here’s the catch: I’d have to pay like a 100 bucks for a new phone plus 20 bucks to change my plan. Is it worth it? Really, it depends.

My dad’s not a fan of paying.. much for phones and he sounded like he’ll not be paying for me when I mentioned it, although I don’t really mind paying for it myself. Oh heck! I’ll see how it goes when the date is actually nearer. ._.

Okay, at the moment I have.. 194 words, and I’m actually aiming for at least 500 so that it wouldn’t look so short. Hm, let me ponder for a second here to think of something I can crap about that’s worth about 300 words..

Ah! Recently, I’ve been starting to feel that the younger generations (I’m not old, okay!) all want to grow up faster and faster. I realised it quite some time ago, but now it’s seriously just ridiculous. In my time (Again, I’m not old, damn it!), it wasn’t as bad. I mean, yeah, I had classmates that enjoyed cursing in my secondary school and to me, that’s fine because it’s pretty much normal. It is secondary school after all and I quickly got used to it hearing different kinds of words everyday.

But, in primary school? It just seems really wrong to me. I have a online friend that’s taking her PSLE this year and yeah, she uses f***. I mean, seriously? I didn’t even dare to type out the word then, let alone say or use it. Yes, I was like super noob or whatever. I can’t blame her though, playing an online game full of gangster-wannabes without getting influenced is almost impossible.

All I can say is to each his own! There is freedom of speech after all! (:

That was about 200 words, woo! <:

.. Mothers’ Day is around the corner, and so is my dad’s birthday ’cause they fall on the same day! Wait, Mothers’ Day does fall on the 9th of May, right..? I think so and I hope so! I’m going to Tampines SAFRA tomorrow to eat at Sakura! Yes, buffet! I wonder if my aunt is planning to celebrate both my dad’s birthday and Mothers’ Day together tomorrow though. I can’t wait! C:

But come to think of it, I haven’t even thought of what to get for both of them! Or should I not get anything? :X I am, afterall, saving up to pay for my own phone-to-be and unlimited-messages-to-be.. plus, I’m pretty much broke. Oh well, I’ll see how it goes then!

Happy Birthday in advance, Dad! And, to all the mothers out there, Happy Mothers’ Day in advance too! (:

R.I.P.

Filed under: Randomness — crapptastic @ 1:46 AM

To tell the truth, I have nothing much to blog about. I just checked, the last time I posted on my own blog was on the 20th of April. Okay, I thought it was much much much much earlier than that. Oh well, sue me. (:

Well well, I guess I could blog about my journey back home last friday. Basically, I stood for more than two hours on that stinkin’ bus since two trees just so happen to have happily fallen down, blocking the road and leaving only three-quarters of a lane free. Oh, and that’s not the worst thing, let me tell you. The worst thing is that my phone died on me. Of all times, it died on me when I was totally bored out of my mind and almost going crazy.

Slowly but surely.. Wait, make that damn slowly but surely, the stinkin’ bus crawled it way out of the mess. I managed to catch a glimpse of the scene as we drove past. I saw a poor car under one tree and some.. dead railings. Man, I didn’t know they were so weak! Ah, and the roots of the trees could be seen! Kind of cool, it was like half uprooted or something to that effect, if you get what I mean. I thought the trees fell because they were struck by lightning since it was raining that day, but that didn’t seem to be the case. Who knows huh. I didn’t (don’t) read the news.. :X

R.I.P. railings. I still see them when I go to school, those poor things. <:

Okay, enough of the worst bus ride I’ve ever been on, let’s blog about other bus stuff, like.. the signs of a coming breakdown! Yes yes, these are never wrong.

Firstly, the bus will be unable to control its doors. When this happens, the annoyed driver has to get up and open/close them manually. Eventually, the bus will subconsciously fall asleep. This is when the driver has to try and wake it up. Finally, if it doesn’t respond to anything at all, it’d be declared to be in a coma and you’d have to get your butt off the seat and get out.

Gosh, I just crapped out one paragraph on signs of a bus that’s going to breakdown. Tell me nothing’s wrong with me. >: I guess this happens when you’re blogging at 0123 AM.

I think I’m going to type some more though, I want to reach 500 words!

Friend@FB: When I was holding the handrail on the bus, my fingers were squished by a guy leaning against the handrail. A thing I wish to tell that guy is: Dude, it’s called a handrail for a reason, or else they would have called it a bodyrail.

That was quoted for truth by the way! I was super pissed, I mean, hello? I know leaning on it beats holding it since it’s more stable, but you’re not the only person standing on the moving bus! Consideration people!

One other time, I was standing at the door (not that I wanted to) and I knew that people needed to get down. But because I was standing like right at the centre of the door and an idiotic person was leaning on the left side so it was impossible for me to hold onto anything there, I had to hold the pole on the right (since the bus was obviously moving), where people were planning to get out from.

Of course I’d move my arm away once the stinkin’ bus stopped, but noooo, the old woman had to push my arm away and get out. Please, oh gosh, pur-lease. The door’s not gonna slam in your face and shut you in when it’s not even open yet.

I mean, I know she’s old and all, but seriously? That doesn’t mean she can be rude. I was instantly pissed and I mean it, like instantly. My face said it all, trust me.

I think I could go on forever regarding stuff that happened on my bus rides so I think it’d be smart to just stop here before this becomes a longer wall of rubbish text.

Time to sleep, g’night! <3
